Hi There! I’m Susan.

Since 2005, I have been photographing couples all over the world and have captured more than 800 incredible love stories and countless families.

Ten years ago, I moved from Colorado to Mexico and have called Isla Mujeres home ever since. My focus is primarily here on this tranquil island - the jungles, cenotes and beaches of Tulum - and the colonial UNESCO city of San Miguel de Allende; however, if you have your heart set on another Mexico destination along the Riviera Maya like Playa Mujeres or the west coast beachside towns of Sausalito or Zihuatanejo, lets chat! I’m willing to travel to tell your love story!

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME

When I’m not doing what I love - photographing people - you’ll find me on the beach, doing yoga or grabbing tacos with friends. When I’m back in Colorado, you’ll find me backpacking or camping in the Rocky Mountains (it’s nice to have a break every so often from the heat and humidity)!

Travel feeds my soul so I try to squeeze a trip in as often as I can. So far, I’ve explored Turkey, Romania, Portugal, Italy, Thailand, Laos, Ireland, Costa Rica, Belize, British/American Virgin Islands, and of course, all around the beautiful county of Mexico. My next adventure will be to Spain to walk the Camino de Santiago.

I am humbled that my work has been recognized by industry leaders. I’m excited that my love for photography and capturing special moments in people’s lives shines through. Over the years, my imagery has been featured in print and wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty, The Knot, WeddingWire, LearnLove and Colorado Brides to name a few. I have also received awards for TOP WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER and the winner of the COUPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS for multiple years. Additionally, I’ve been a member of the FEARLESS PHOTOGRAPHERS invitation only organization where my imagery has been awarded as well.

In the end though, what really matters to me is my relationships with my clients. They are why I do what I do!
