Isla Mujeres Wedding Proposal | Cancun Marriage Proposal | Matt + Morgan

Morgan said YES to Matt when he got down on one knee and proposed on the cliffs of Punta Sur on Isla Mujeres! Yippee!!!!! Matt and Morgan were vacationing in Cancun, escaping the cold chill of their home in Vancouver, British Columbia. Matt contacted me a few weeks earlier about the idea of capturing his proposal on film which I quickly responded with an “ABSOLUTELY”! He had not been to Isla Mujeres before, but that was not an issue at all as I provided him with very detailed directions on the process of getting to ‘The Spot’ where he popped the question.

Following the ‘big moment’, I went up and introduced myself to Morgan who was still shaking with delight from Matt’s proposal. I told her that I just secretively photographed Matt’s proposal and that we were going to do a mini photo session around the cliffs of Punta Sur. She was so excited…as was he! After our session ended, we hopped in my golf cart and I brought them to Mayan Beach Club where they had a very romantic dinner on the beach at sunset. I’m so excited for this wonderful couple and was honored to capture this special moment that begins the rest of their lives together!
