Isla Mujeres Engagement Photo Session | Diana + Patrick

I met up with Diana and Patrick the other day at their hotel, Casa Alkimia Oceanfront, for their engagement photos on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres. First let me say that Alkimia is INCREDIBLE and if you’re coming to Isla, you MUST stay there!

We started out photo journey at the south end of the island. Punta Sur is home to the temple built to the goddess Ixchel and is super romantic with the crashing waves and cliffs overlooking the blue Caribbean Sea. After some time there, we headed back north into town. We stoped at some of the historic buildings before heading over to the water for photos among the colorful fishing boats. We needed with some play on the beach and the most incredible stormy looking sky for sunset. It was a magical session and I couldn’t be happier for this newly engaged couple!
