Isla Mujeres Marriage Proposal and Engagement Photography | Jamie + Roger

This story is a good one!!! Jamie contacted me about doing a photo shoot of her and her boyfriend while they were visiting Isla Mujeres on vacation. Jamie herself is a very talented photographer specializing in newborns. After reviewing the images on my website, we came up with a plan on where to do their photos. About a week before their session, Roger, her boyfriend, contacted me and said he was going to propose to Jamie during the session and it was going to be a surprise. I was THRILL!!!!! He looked through the photos and decided the location would be on the Caribbean Side of the island near the volcanic rocks and crashing waves. As this was going to be the last place we went for their photos, Roger had to carry the engagement ring around in his pocket. The whole time, he was worrying that Jamie would feel it. Well the big moment finally came and as Jamie was looking away, Roger got down on one knee and proposed. When Jamie turned around and say him, it was pure joy radiating from her face!

After the initial “I DO”, I congratulated them on their engagement and noticed that the sand on Roger’s knee was in the shape of a heart! It was amazing! Jamie’s ring was breathtaking and so incredibly unique!

I couldn’t be happier for this incredible couple and am pleased to share that Isla Mujeres is now part of their love story! Congrats Jamie and Roger, on your engagement!!!!!
