Isla Mujeres Wedding Proposal | Greg + Elizabeth

Elizabeth said YES!!!! Although this fabulous couple were staying in Cancun, Greg loved what he had seen on my website of Isla Mujeres and decided it would be the perfect destination for his wedding proposal. He choose an incredible lookout point looking down on the blue Caribbean waters at Punta Sur, the south point of the island. I got set up in my secret vantage point early to be prepared. While I waited, an iguana decided that the overlook was a fabulous place also and took up residency there. I tried to shoo him away, but had no success. I only hoped that Elizabeth wouldn’t be too terrified by him to join the prehistoric looking creature on the platform. Thankfully, she wasn’t and soon enough, Greg got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to be his wife. It was such an incredibly tender moment and I was thrilled to be able to capture this oh so special moment for them.

After the big “I DO”, I introduced myself and told the newly engagement, Elizabeth, that her sweetie had planned me to be there and photograph his wedding proposal. We then did a mini photo session around the beautiful spots of Punta Sur. After our session, we hopped in my golf cart and I brought them to Mayan Beach Club for a romantic dinner on the beach where they were able to enjoy sunset.

Congratulations Greg and Elizabeth! I’m so incredibly happy for you both!
