Zama Beach Club Wedding Photography | Isla Mujeres Wedding | Mariah + Quincy

Bride and groom kissing at sunset on beach

A HUGE congratulations to Mariah and Quincy who had their destination wedding on Mexico’s Isla Mujeres!

Two years ago, I had the honor of photographing Mariah’s sister’s wedding. Mia and Shaf also tied the knot on Isla Mujeres. It was wonderful to see everyone again when I joined them for getting ready photos!

Both Mariah and Quincy gave each other special gifts in celebration of their love. One of Quincy’s was a photo of his grandmother that he pinned to the inside of his jacket. Mariah also adorned photos of her grandparents under her dress. I love when couple’s honor the loved ones who have left this world.

Mariah is very close with her family and she had a very touching moment with her mom when she gave her a heart bracelet and a hanky that said “Mom thank you for everything!! No ugly crying :-)”. So cute! She also had a special ‘first look’ with her dad. Another heartfelt moment!

Mariah and Quincy choose to have their wedding at Zama Beach Club, a private and exclusive beach club on Isla Mujeres. Their ceremony took place on the beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Mariah’s grandfather performed the ceremony which added an extra special element to their day. Following The Kiss, they headed over to the dock for a group photos with all their guests. The sunset that evening was incredible and made for a wonderful backdrop to photos of this fabulous couple.

Dinner was held under the pergola above the pools where toasts and cake cutting was also enjoyed. Everyone then moved to the main pergola for dancing. Followed the bride and groom’s first dance, Mariah danced with her dad and shortly into the dance, her mom and sisters joined in for a group hug/dance followed by a special dance dedicated to Mariah’s parents. Then Quincy and his mom were up and boy did they rock the dance floor! The dance floor continued to rock when everyone joined in! What a night it was! Laughter, love and shots of tequila were plentiful!

Thank you Mariah and Quincy, for the incredible honor of being your destination wedding photographer! Much happiness to you both!
