Isla Mujeres Professional Photography | Fashion

On an island abundant with color, I decided to do this trash the dress session in black and white and am so happy I did! This was a stylized fashion session with the beautiful Nadia who modeled for us. I was joined by two other photographers who were visiting Isla Mujeres. What fun it was to collaborate with other professional photographers! Nadia’s ‘look’ was influenced by the famous Mexico artist – Frida Kahlo. Our session started in the ceremony and ended in the ocean at sunset for a true in-the-water trash the dress session. Although most of these photos are in black and white, I’ve included a few in color as well as some ‘behind the scenes’ shots. Thanks to Ursula Lopez who did Nadia’s makeup and hair…and held the off-camera flash for the sunset photos!
